
Honey Glazed Turkey Meatballs
A sweet and savory twist on traditional meatballs, perfect as appetizers or a protein-packed side for your favorite dinner.
Ingredients
- 3 cups ground turkey
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp yellow onion minced
- 1 Tbsp garlic cloves minced
- 2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- ½ cup + 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 4 ½ Tbsp soy sauce
- 4 ½ Tbsp sugar
- 4 ½ Tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, tomato paste, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and lemon pepper spice. Mix until well blended.
- Use a scoop to form meatballs. Place 1" apart on parchment-lined sheet pans. Bake for 12–15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F for at least 15 seconds.
- In a pot over medium heat, add ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and honey. Mix until well blended. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- In a bowl, add the meatballs and sauce. Toss to coat. Serve hot.
