Ingredients

fresh red beets
peeled and diced 1/2″

can (15 oz.)
garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
rinsed and drained

tahini paste

fresh lemon juice

extra virgin olive oil

tsp
kosher salt
1/2
tsp
fresh garlic
peeled and minced (or to taste)
Instructions
Place diced beets in steamer basket/pan. Steam until fork-tender, 40 to 45 minutes. Drain.
In food processor, combine cooked beets and remaining ingredients. Process until smooth.
Cover. Keep chilled for service.
